Installation & Configuration
Configure O'Toolkit after installation: connect your account, manage your O'Tokens, and verify everything works.
Step 1: Create your O'Solutions account
Before configuring O'Toolkit, you need an O'Solutions account to manage your O'Tokens:
- Go to portal.osolutions.app
- Create your account or log in
- You will receive 30 free O'Tokens to get started
What are O'Tokens?
O'Tokens are the credit system that powers all AI features in O'Toolkit. Each action (translation, text enhancement, content generation) consumes a certain number of tokens based on content length and complexity. You can purchase more tokens anytime from the portal.
Step 2: Configure O'Toolkit in Odoo
- Go to Settings → scroll down to the O'Toolkit section
- Enter your API Key — available in your O'Solutions portal
- Click Save
Step 3: Verify the connection
After saving your API key, verify that O'Toolkit is properly connected:
- In the O'Toolkit settings, check that your token balance is displayed
- The status should show "Connected"
Configuration complete
O'Toolkit is connected and ready to use. Your token balance will update in real-time as you use AI features.
Managing your O'Tokens
Here's a quick overview of typical token costs:

Token costs vary based on content length and complexity. You can monitor your balance at any time in the O'Toolkit settings or on the O'Solutions portal.
Troubleshooting
Connection failed
- Verify your API key is correct — copy it again from the portal
- Check your internet connection
- Ensure your Odoo instance can reach external HTTPS endpoints
Token balance not showing
- Refresh the settings page
- Check that your API key is saved correctly
- Verify your account status on the O'Solutions portal
Running out of tokens?
When your token balance reaches zero, AI features will be temporarily unavailable. Purchase more tokens from the O'Solutions portal to continue using O'Toolkit.
